More details about the morning

A day of fellowship, worship and teaching around God's word. Based on the subject of Servant Leadership.

We are all called to be leaders in some capacity or other—in the home, in the workplace, and here within the church family amongst God's people. But what does it mean to be a Christian and a leader in today's counter-culture world? What is the character of leadership and what does the Bible say to us about it?

Jesus said "Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."
The world's way is the way of self interest and of self serving. Jesus's way is self-sacrifice. True greatness is serving as Jesus served.

So how does Jesus's teaching change our expectations, ambitions and dreams?
What does being a "slave of all" look like at home, in the workplace and within the church family?
We are going to look at what that means and how it is lived out as disciples of Jesus. Servant leaders.
