We are influenced by so many different things. People, TV, radio, books, papers, journals, magazines, adverts, podcasts, social media; especially social media. The question a preacher must ask - indeed any disciple must ask - is, "What is the main influence in my life?" Or, "What is the main source of influence into my heart and mind?" "What moulds my thinking and worldview and values and beliefs?" If the main source is anything other than the Scriptures then we are not going to be living as holy, as zealously and abundantly as we could do.
"Let the word of God dwell in you richly" (Colossians 3v16)
